George Washington Carver High School of Engineering and Science
Mission
Carver HSES is a magnet middle and high school for academically talented, motivated, and college-bound students interested in the sciences, mathematics, engineering, technology, and medicine.
Our goals are to prepare our students with the academic and personal skills for collegiate success and to empower our students with the social and leadership skills to be lifelong learners and productive citizens.

Admissions Policy
Potential scholars must have A's and B's in all subjects within the course of 2 years on their final report cards, score at least the 65th percentile on standardized tests, and have exemplary attendance and no negative disciplinary reports. Encouraged to submit a one-page essay detailing why you wish to attend Carver HSES.
