Mission

The mission of NFCS is to provide students with the academic, social, and emotional foundations and skills necessary to become high achieving, socially competent stewards of their communities. The founders of NFCS will ensure a commitment to lifelong learning and achievement of all our students by creating an atmosphere of caring that pervades every aspect of school life, and promotes attachment to and responsibility for all members of our school community.

Admissions Policy

NFCS runs on a public lottery system. An application must be filled out through Apply Philly Charter.

Accreditations and Honors

Over the years, NFCS has received a variety of awards and designations based on community and school based projects. Some of these includes Lowe's Toolbox for Education, 21st Century Community Learning Center, Pro-Wellness capacity building initiatives, Fresh Fruits and Vegetable Program, Service Learning School of Success, and Farm to School Network partner
