Mission

Our vision is to create an inclusive educational environment that employs 21st Century Learning Models. We aim to scaffold the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, physical, ethical development and holistic wellness of the entire student body. We promote just and caring learning spaces that will support all students scholarly, entrepreneurial and vocational aspirations. Our hope is that all students are equipped to explore career and work readiness opportunities in high school and beyond. We nurture tolerance, innovative thought, computer literacy, creative expression, inclusivity, global citizenship, interfaith dialogue and essential soft skills development. We prepare our students for active civic engagement in the community of humankind. We empower the entire school family with voice. We embrace and celebrate the plurality of their agency.

We operate from a data-driven standards aligned system. We believe that all data is meaningful and use many sources as informational tools to guide the forward movement of the school.

Our instructional programming evolves from the Efficacy Framework. We believe that all students can achieve at very high levels given the necessary supports. All school efforts are guided towards honoring this commitment.

Our mantra is: “Smart is Not Something You Are. Smart is Something You Become” (Howard, 2005).
