Mission

The faculty at Andrew Jackson is devoted to continuing education and professional development to maintain the highest standard for the students. Students learn in an environment filled with the arts and music. We strive to provide academic excellence in a happy safe community school where students are eager to learn. We celebrate our diversity and work united for excellence!

Points Of Pride

Jackson prides itself on having an extremely diverse population that serves all cultures. We also have an amazing parent presence through our Home and School Association and Friends of Jackson group, which both meet monthly. We host a variety of community service projects throughout the year. Our amazing partners, including Fleisher Art Memorial, The University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, MusiCopia and countless others, provide our students with supplemental in-school and out-of-school programming.

Jackson believes that a positive safe school climate provides students with great environment to learn. We utilize a progressive discipline model and implement positive behavior intervention supports (PBIS). Through our Jaguar climate and culture initiatives we actualize students' leadership potential and give students the skills to be successful in and out of the school setting.
