Mission

Freire provides a college-preparatory learning experience with a focus on individual freedom, critical thinking and problem-solving in an environment that emphasizes the values of community, teamwork and nonviolence.

Admissions Policy

Open to all students who live in Philadelphia. If there are more applications than available seats, a lottery will be held. The school’s enrollment policy gives priority to the following groups in this order: Sibling attending; Sibling accepted offer, Parents have actively participated in the development of the school, Lives in Philadelphia, Out-of-district PA resident.
