Mission
The mission of Horace H. Furness High School is to provide the social and academic tools in a safe and nurturing environment that empowers students to use multicultural competency to become productive citizens in our global society.
Points Of Pride
Advanced Placement/college-level courses: English Literature, English Language, Calculus, U.S. History, U.S. Government and Politics, Studio Art, Chinese, Physics and Biology. Academic programs: Business Accounting Program and English as a Second Language/Multicultural Academy.

Serves students from catchment area. Students from outside catchment are selected in the lottery.

Student Achievement
Raw data measures student performance on standardized tests. Not all schools take the same standardized tests. Direct comparisons between different tests should not be made.
We use programs including Youth Court, PBIS, and trauma-informed practices to support our students. In addition, our climate staff, including the School Safety Officers working on building relationships with all students.
