Independence Charter School West (ICS West), a dual-language school where students learn both English and Spanish, will serve a highly diverse student population in kindergarten through grade 8 and will provide high-quality learning experiences that promote academic excellence, global responsibility, and second-language acquisition for all students.

Admissions Policy
Open to all students who live in Philadelphia. If there are more applications than available seats, a lottery will be held. The school’s enrollment policy gives priority to the following groups in this order: Sibling attending, Parent is staff member, Lives in Sayre, Bartram, or Overbrook catchment areas, Lives in Philadelphia, Out-of-district PA residentAccreditations and Honors
