Mission

As a caring and trusting school community we are committed to enthusiastically providing a physically, and emotionally secure environment in which each child is encouraged to achieve to his or her fullest potential. We are committed to the belief that all of our children can learn and achieve at high levels.  We can accomplish our goals by setting high expectations and modify our instructional program in order to ensure success for all of our students.  Ongoing review of data will enable us to modify our instructional program and foster a positive school climate.

Points Of Pride

Partnership with the PA Ballet and the Philadelphia Museum of Art through the Delphi Foundation. Received a grant through the Devereux Foundation which allows CHOP to work with our students. Drama club that performs Broadway shows every spring. Two instrumental music teachers three times per week.

Admissions Policy

Students must live within designated catchment boundaries.

Accreditations and Honors

Place in top 3 in the Puerto Rican Parade for the past 4 years; Award winning robotics program - 2008-2012; AYP 2009, 2011
