Mission

LOGAN Hope, a Christ-centered, K-8 school in the Logan section of Philadelphia, seeks to transform its community by empowering its under-resourced children with the knowledge, skills and character qualities required to reach their potential and to be contributing members of their community. We seek to do this through a rigorous program of academics, character development and leadership opportunities.

Points Of Pride

  1. Our graduates have been accepted to many quality high schools in Philadelphia, including Central, Girls' High, Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School, Northeast Magnet School, Parkway Center City, The City School, and Science Leadership Academy.
  2. Three of our alumni graduated from high school as valedictorians (Parkway Center City, Mastery Charter, Delaware Valley Charter). Most of our graduates are attending college on scholarships.
  3. Colleges that our alumni have attended include Drexel, Temple, Villanova, Gwynedd Mercy, Holy Family, Penn State, Messiah College, and others.

Admissions Policy

Enrollment takes place each spring. Priority is given to siblings of current students and to neighborhood residents first. Most students are accepted as they enter Kindergarten after a parent/student interview and testing. Due to our small class sizes, we are often at-capacity and unable to take transfers.
