Mission
To provide a challenging curriculum immersed in enrichment opportunities to enhance the whole learner and to develop well-rounded individuals. We aim to develop critical thinkers, problem solvers and responsible students who have the technical skills and technological skills to be successful in high school and post secondary endeavors. MYA has won five awards in the last six years for Climate & Culture, Overall School Performance and Significant School Growth. Most recently, MYA was awarded the 2020 Pennsylvania Distinguished Title I School Award and the “Beat the Odds” award in 2022 that honors schools making significant academic growth while serving a diverse population of students.
