Pan American Academy Charter School
Mission
Pan American Academy Charter School's mission is to prepare bilingual, internationally minded inquirers.
Points Of Pride
Pan American provides a high-quality dual language education to students in Eastern North Philadelphia. Pan American was the innovation of Congreso de Latinos Unidos (Congreso), a Philadelphia nonprofit that has received national recognition for effective, comprehensive services to the Latino community. Pan American has a unique educational model, combining best practices in instruction, teacher professional development, and support services to students and families. Pan American's four pillars are all aligned with the mission and educational programming. Those pillars are dual language instruction, the International Baccalaureate (IB), inclusive classrooms, and Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS). Pan American is an authorized IB World School offering the Primary Years Program (PYP) and the Middle Years Program (MYP).
