Mission

The mission of West Oak Lane Charter School is to empower children to become life-long learners in areas of science, technology, and the humanities by exposing them to innovative ways of teaching and learning while preparing them for the challenges of the 21st century in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.

Admissions Policy

Open to all students who live in Philadelphia. If there are more applications than available seats, a lottery will be held. The school’s enrollment policy gives priority to the following groups in this order: Sibling attending; Children of alumni; Sibling offered seat, Lives in Philadelphia
