Olney Charter High School has a full support staff, including six counselors, seven behavior specialists, two school psychologists, a Community and Parent Outreach office, 30 safety team members. The school provides two programs to help support struggling students: The ASPIRA Academy focuses on behavior modification and serves as a disciplinary intervention, and the Accelerated Academy is a program that works with students who are overage and under-credited. We also have more than 250 cameras throughout the school grounds (classrooms, hallways, stairwells, lunchrooms, auditorium, gymnasium, etc.). All doors are alarmed and monitored at all times. All students must go through metal detectors and place their belongings through an X-ray machine when they enter the building. All visitors to the building are required to go through the same procedures.
