At the Arts Academy, students in 9th to 12th grade take college preparatory classes including one course in their art major each year, and electives such as creative writing, guitar, piano, ceramics, forensic science, statistics and chamber singing. AP calculus, AP Physics, and AP literature are offered to students who meet the criteria. Six core values frame the curriculum: imagination, communication, empathy, perspective, analysis and commitment. These core values are integral to the curriculum and instruction.
